Aspire Global has received full certification to operate in the Netherlands, which will enable it to roll out its player account management platform solution, sports betting and casino games across the country.
The certification will allow Aspire to launch thanks to partnerships already concluded with operators in the country.
Last year, Aspire’s Pariplay platform signed an agreement with Holland Casino, one of ten operators to receive a license from Dutch regulator Kansspelautoriteit. As part of the deal, Pariplay would supply its proprietary games to Holland Casino.
In January, Aspire reached a deal that will allow BoyleSports, Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker, to live in the Netherlands.
The deal, which will take effect upon Aspire’s entry into the Netherlands, will mean that Aspire will provide its full turnkey solutions to BoyleSports through Aspire’s sports bookmaker Btobet.
“The newly regulated Dutch market is growing rapidly and is one of the most attractive igaming markets in Europe,” said Tsachi Maimon, CEO of Aspire Global. “We expect the igaming market in the Netherlands to grow to eventually become one of the largest in Europe and we are excited about the opportunities we see.”
“Now, when our complete B2B offer is certified, we are ready to play a major role in shaping the Dutch market and improving the player experience also in the Dutch market.”
In January, NeoGames submitted an offer of SEK 4.3 billion to acquire Aspire.
Following the publication of the offer document detailing the proposals, which is expected in April, an acceptance period will run until May 3. If accepted, the transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2022.
