Casino Morongo welcomes beautiful new poker and bingo rooms

That’s the game at Casino Morongo with the opening this week of a beautiful new poker room and a new bingo room which are both part of a recent expansion and refurbishment complementing the classic style of the destination of very popular game.

Located adjacent to the 27-story Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, the Morongo Casino poker room offers 20 tables for daily play and tournaments, automatic mixers at each table to streamline play, and meals available at the edge of play. The renovated poker room also offers Texas Hold’em or Omaha games and will show the biggest sports games on six 65-inch high-definition wall-mounted televisions.

As part of the opening weekend, the Morongo Poker Room will give away $500 cash every hour to a random Morongo Rewards member playing Texas Hold’em or Omaha from noon on Friday, April 1 at midnight on Monday, April 4. There will also be double jackpots every even hour throughout the weekend.

Located next to the new poker room, the new Morongo Bingo Hall Casino features 250 seats and state-of-the-art electronic gaming tablets to enhance the player experience. To accommodate the space, Morongo is hosting a bingo hall reopening celebration on Friday, April 1 starting at 3:00 p.m. with the first game scheduled for 6:00 p.m. that evening.

Doors to the bingo hall will open at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, with the first game at 6:00 p.m. On Sunday, doors will open at 11:00 a.m. with the first game at 2:00 p.m. The bingo hall will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.

“We are thrilled to announce that bingo is back in Morongo and the cards are in the air at our new poker room,” said Morongo COO Richard St. Jean. “We have created two beautiful new spaces for our poker and bingo players and are confident that these new accommodations will exceed our guests’ expectations for comfort and playability.”

Built by Moorefield Construction, Inc., the expanded Morongo Casino has created more than 50 construction jobs and dozens of new full-time casino positions to add to the 2,500 jobs Morongo already provides.

The project follows the 2020 renovation of the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa complex which brought vibrant new furnishings and dramatic decor to the 27-story resort tower, as well as an expansion which gave Morongo one of the largest casino floors on the west coast. The project included a stylish renovation of Morongo’s 310 suites and rooms.
