Xpoint Set to Sponsor Canadian Gaming Summit – Casino Reports

More recently, a leading location-based technology company, Xpoint, which specializes in sports betting and iGaming in North America, announced that it will be sponsoring the Canadian Gaming Summit. This year’s edition of the event will take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Center and will begin on June 7, 2022 and run until June 9, 2022.

The Canadian Gaming Summit or CGS is one of the most important gaming conventions in Canada. Each year, stakeholders from the local and North American gaming industry come together to meet face-to-face where they discuss innovations and showcase their latest products and concepts. And this year’s edition of the conference will be the 25th since its launch.

Partner of the 25th edition

Xpoint is a provider of geolocation security and intelligent location-based marketing information solutions for the global sports betting and online gaming markets. And his announcement for CGS sponsorship comes right after his news on commissioning in the Canadian market. The company will make its industry debut in the country with an operator, which will launch its online gaming platform in early June.

In addition to that, the company also recently informed about its first-ever award nominations as it was shortlisted for the 2022 SBC North America Awards. The company was nominated for the honors of Rising Start in sports betting as well as Rising Star in Casino. This further confirms the company’s continued expansion into Canada and the United States as a provider of innovative, partner-focused location-based technologies.

Marvin Sanderson, CEO and co-founder of the company, said he was delighted to take the opportunity to partner with CGS, which is Canada’s most prestigious gaming event of the year. He believes this is a very exciting time for the provider, especially in Canada, where the company’s first partner will soon make its debut in the Ontario online gaming market for private operators.

Ontario’s Newest Regulated Provincial Market open on April 4, 2022, and so far more than 20 gaming entities have been commissioned in the jurisdictions. This includes big names such as DraftKings, which made its national debut, having obtained a license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. Now the operator can legally offer its DraftKings Sportsbook app to local punters.

SBC obtains CGS

In March of this year, SBC announced that it had reached an agreement to acquire the Canadian Gaming Summit, as well as MediaEdge Communications. SBC will now work with MediaEdge and CGS to deliver more content and business value to this year’s edition of the annual conference. He will also ensure that the summit supports further development of the Canadian gaming industry.

Shortly after the acquisition, SBC held a special gaming industry reception on April 4, 2022, which was organized in order to celebrate the launch of Ontario’s new online gaming market. Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, said the deal is a significant achievement for the company, which suits its expanding portfolio of world-class events and media properties in the United States and Latin America.
