- Accumulator
A single bet combining several selections, all of which must win.
- Asian handicap
A handicap market that gives one side a goal advantage and removes or splits the draw.

- Bankroll
The money you set aside only for betting or gaming, separate from money you need.
- Bookmaker margin
The amount by which a market’s implied probabilities exceed 100%; the bookmaker’s built-in profit.

- Cash out
A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, for an amount the bookmaker offers.

- Decimal odds
Odds shown as the total return per unit staked, including the stake.

- House edge
The built-in mathematical advantage a casino game has over players, expressed as a percentage of stakes.
I
- Implied probability
The chance of an outcome suggested by its odds; for decimal odds, 1 divided by the odds.
K
- KYC
Know your customer: identity and age checks licensed operators must perform.
P
- Provably fair
A method that lets players verify with cryptographic hashes that a game result was not altered.
R
- Responsible gambling
Practices and tools that help keep gambling safe and within limits, such as deposit limits and self-exclusion.
- RTP
Return to player: the share of all stakes a game is designed to pay back over the very long run.

- Volatility
How a game’s payouts are distributed: frequent small wins (low) or rare larger wins (high).
W
- Wagering requirement
The total amount you must bet before bonus funds or bonus winnings can be withdrawn.
