Market-leading responsible gaming software provider wins ‘Best Player Protection Product or System’ award at industry awards event
Neccton won the award for best player protection product or system for its mentoring software at the 2022 Casino Awards, held on April 12 at the Tower Hotel in London. The award was judged by an independent panel of industry experts, with a mentor beating tough competition for the win.
Neccton’s Director and Head of Development, Dr. Michael Auer, attended the event and accepted the award. He said: “This is our first ever award and it is great to be recognized by the industry at such a prestigious event. We have planned a busy year with some major developments, so hopefully this will be the first of many! »
Mentor co-developer Mark Griffiths, Emeritus Professor of Behavioral Addiction at Nottingham Trent University, was also recognized by Dr Auer after the event. “The idea for a mentor grew out of a discussion Mark and I had in 2008, and we’ve come a long way since then to dominate the market for player-focused responsible gambling solutions.”
Professor Griffiths said: “The research that Michael and I have been carrying out together for over a decade has underpinned the development of the Mentor and it is always good to see our research applied to help in the area of player protection and damage minimization.
Distinguished Neccton customers also praised the company after the win, with Greentube UK Compliance Manager Adam Mason saying: “Mentor is the cornerstone of our Safer Gambling business. Customer messaging, behavior tracking, user-friendly data summarization, incident management, and risk assessment functionality allow us to provide our customers with the safest gaming environment possible.
Neccton’s customer list includes many top online operators in Europe including STS, Casumo, CEGO, Play North, PlayOJO and top lottery operators like Lotto NZ and Canada Atlantic Lottery.
Neccton’s Mentor is a revolutionary player behavior analysis tool that alerts the operator and can directly contact players who display critical behavior. For example, players are notified when their deposit frequency increases significantly and helps customers make more informed decisions about their play through personalized feedback.
The Casino Awards brought together senior executives, board members and owners of many of Europe’s best casinos including Casinos Austria, Holland Casinos, Société des Bains de Mer, Partouche, Grosvenor, Les Ambassadeurs, Aspers , The Hippodrome and many more.
