Legendary is a status that very few bands achieve but, for 30+ years, Fashionable reached this peak on nothing but pure talent. And they’re not giving up now. Still living up to the global release of 2018 electric coffeetheir first album in 14 years, Fashionable continues to soar as Terry Ellis, Cindy Herron-Braggs and Rhona Bennett take the band to even greater heights.

Formed in 1989 in the Bay Area, Fashionablethen made up of Ellis, Herron, Dawn Robinson and Maxine Jones, began their formal takeover of R&B and pop in 1990 when their hit single, “Hold On” from their critically acclaimed debut album, born to sing, reached number one on the dance and R&B/Hip-Hop charts. Since then, they have sold over 20 million physical albums. Most impressively, they’ve effortlessly transitioned into the digital age, garnering over 30 million streams and over 26 million views on YouTube for their Top 6 hit singles alone which, in addition to “Hold On”, includes “Free Your Mind”, “Never Gonna Get It”, “Giving Him Something He Can Feel”, “Don’t Let Go”, and “Whatta Man” (with Salt-N-Pepa).

Today the evolution of Fashionable, now a threesome with Bennett, is still going strong. “Rocket”, their Ne-Yo wrote the radio single of electric coffee, which blends the band’s signature harmonies with futuristic language for romance, became their first Top 10 single in 20 years. To date, the video, playing the mood of intergalactic love, has almost 2 million views on YouTube. Their second single, “Reach 4 Me”, also reached the Top 20.
